Shaded Cliff
Inspired by Steep Cliffs near Dieppe, (1897).
A port city in northern France facing the English Channel and surrounded by steep cliffs, Dieppe is famous for its stunning chalk cliffs in the north. In Monet's Steep Cliffs Near Dieppe, the painter did not directly curate the hard-edged cliffs; instead, he reinterpreted the hazy daylight, raging waves and craggy rocks with greyish green, light blue, lavender, coral pink, ochre red and other colours to manifest the magnificent nature.
Inspired by Monet's Steep Cliffs Near Dieppe, MOOCHACHA's "Shaded Cliff" collection captures the steep cliffs with vigorous lines and reinterprets the wonders of nature in 18-karat rose gold with coloured gemstones for an extra glamourous touch, driving observers towards the edge of the cliffs feeling breathtaking, obscure, captivating and astounding.
