Pablo Picasso
Spanish painter, sculptor, and designer Pablo Picasso was one of the most radically influential artists of the 20th Century, known as a founding member of the Cubist art movement. In a lifelong career of experimentation and innovation, Picasso developed a method of representing objects, forms, and figures in space that combined various angles and planes onto the canvas. The multi-dimensional abstraction reveals itself in receding geometric patterns and sharp, shadowed, edges, that later evolved into the artist’s distinctive style.
