Giverny Garden
Inspired by Poppy Field, (1890).
Monet loved poppies which were seen blooming in his garden in Giverny where served as the source of inspiration for many of his masterpieces. In his oil paintings, the artist diluted the details of the subjects, and portrayed the blossom in splashy patches of cinnabar-red, pink, orange, yellow ... The undulating poppies flicker under the sun, the resplendent sea of flowers pile up drifts of colours, reassuring vigorous vitality of nature.
The "Giverny Garden" collection from MOOCHACHA features "flowers" - the figurative symbol diluted by Monet in his painting Poppy Field with a colourful rthym with blobs of paint - in rose gold-plated sterling silver, enamel and colour stones. The fine and delicate spinning flowers fill with childlike wonder. To look at the flower is to observe the beauty of poppies from the stem to the petals, as well as the flourishing universe in spring.
